Alaska Cruise 2

 Watching the horizon-- we saw whales and dolphins as well as the islands of the inland passage.

 This is the Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm,  The mountains rise out of the ocean to 7000 feet. Spectacular!

There are 3 dinner restaurants they rotate guests thru on the trip so we spent 2 nights in each area.  This is Animators Palate where everything starts as black and white but by meal's end everything is in living color.  Very well done..

 I got some gold that I bought in the trading post.  This was the tourist trap type--commonly called fools gold. 

 Emily talked several of our group into entering the various trivia gameshows- so we came home with 2 first place medals and trophies.

 This is actually us coming back to the ship after driving into Carcross, Yukon, Canada.  Tony rented a van from Sourdough Sam's rental and video store and we had many adventures going up thru White"s Pass, across the muskeg, and 90 miles thru Canada... where we saw these bears right by the road...  We also got free Carcross burgers (Which sounds like carcass burgers).

 So we explored this land of beauty...And had a great experience making memories with TNT (Tony n' Tara).   We celebrated their 20th anniversary, Jacob's graduation for regular high school, his eagle scout award, and my 1st year of retirement.

TNT wanted to get away for their 20th Anniversary, we said we would watch the kids, and the way it worked out we watched the kids right next door to them, plus helping them have a much more exciting trip than if they were were just laying around by themselves.  Pretty considerate of us, eh?  (That's a Canadian saying used at the end of most sentences up there)
