Some of the reasons we love Montana

Through the seasons and wildlife here in Montana.  The geese gather in great flocks but they no longer fly south, they hang out in ponds and fields locally.  Maybe global warming?

Snow in late Dec. and the deer are playing in the "meadow" that we see from our living room.

The 2nd week of Jan. 2015, this moose came out of the riverbottom, broke a neighbor's fence trying to stomp their dogs and spent overnight next door.  The city police came and herded it back to the river.  We don't have terrorists---we herd mooses.

About every other morning we have bald eagles land by the river watching for trout they can swoop down on.  This was closer than most so we got a picture.

Again from our picture window, this clear morning shot as the sunlight touches the
"Shining Mountains".  Such is the cycle of life, flowing like the clear streams fed from the eternal snow of the high country.  I just bought a Disney True Life Adventure DVD and that's why I talk in grand language.  Always trying to say phrases with great style and correctness. Sort of like the diplomats and diplomattresses.
